Driving Directions and Bus Routes

From Downtown or East Atlanta (I-20)
1. Head west on I-20 (approx. 16.0 miles from I-20 at I-285, or 6.0 miles from downtown Atlanta)
2. Take exit 51B to merge onto I-285 North toward Chattanooga/Greenville (1.7 miles)
3. Take exit 12 for US-78/278 toward Hollowell Parkway (0.2 miles)
4. Turn left at Hollowell Parkway NW/GA-8 West/US-278/78 West
5. Continue on Hollowell Parkway (3.7 miles)
6. Turn right at North Allen Road
7. Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta will be on the right
8. Girl Scout Service Center, Building A (left); Girl Scouts Business Center, Building B (right)

• From North, Northeast or Northwest Atlanta (I-75, GA 400 and I-85 at I-285)

1. Head northwest on I-285 North (20.8 miles)
2. Take exit 12 for US-78/ 278 toward Hollowell Parkway (0.2 miles)
3. Turn right at Hollowell Parkway NW/GA-8 West/US-278/78 West
4. Continue to follow Hollowell Parkway (3.6 miles)
5. Turn right at North Allen Road

• From South Atlanta (I-75 at I-285)
1. Head west on I-285 West (16.8 miles)
2. Take exit 12 for US-78/278 toward Hollowell Parkway (0.2 miles)
3. Turn left at Hollowell Parkway NW/GA-8 West/US-278/78 West
4. Continue to follow Hollowell Parkway (3.7 miles)
5. Turn right at North Allen Road
6. Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta will be on the right

• MARTA and Cobb County Transit (CCT) Route Information

• No MARTA or CCT routes run directly to the Girl Scout Service Center. However, several routes drop off in the general vicinity.
• From South Atlanta: If you are traveling from South Atlanta area, northbound CCT route 30 runs from MARTA Holmes Station to Floyd Rd. and Hollowell Parkway in Mableton, about 1 mile from the Girl Scouts Service Center.
• From Marietta area: CCT route 30 southbound runs between the CCT Marietta Transfer Center (near GA-41 and GA-120) and Floyd Rd. at Hollowell Parkway in Mableton, about 1 mile from the Girl Scouts Service Center.

• Directions to the Cumming Service Center from Atlanta
  1. Take GA 400 North to exit 15 (Baldridge)
  2. Go left off the exit and get into the left lane
  3. Follow Baldridge through the center of Cumming staying in the left lane, you will pass a clock tower on your left
  4. The road will take a slight curve to the right (the road name changes here to Highway 20)
  5. After the slight curve to the right, the next street on your left is Samaritan Drive
  6. Turn left on Samaritan Drive and follow until it dead ends into the Cumming Family Center. The offices are located inside this building.

   

Dalton

• Traveling I-75 north from Atlanta
  1. Take exit 333 (Walnut Avenue).
  2. Make a right turn onto Walnut Avenue. Go approximately three miles to the Walnut Square Mall (it's on the right).
  3. Take the first driveway to the right after you pass the second mall entrance. This is the driveway for the Badge & Sash store located in the Volunteer Service Center, Dalton. (It is located between Ryan's Family Steakhouse and a Dodge dealership.)

• Traveling I-75 south from Tennessee
  1. Take exit 333 (Walnut Avenue).
  2. Make a left turn onto Walnut Avenue. Go approximately three miles to the Walnut Square Mall (it's on the right).
  3. Take the first driveway to the right after you pass the second mall entrance. This is the driveway for the Badge & Sash store located in the Volunteer Service Center, Dalton. (It is located between Ryan's Family Steakhouse and a Dodge dealership.)

1. Take I-85 South to I-75 South
2. Exit 235 Griffin/ Jonesboro
3. Continue on Highway 19/41 (Tara Blvd.) about 32 miles
4. Do not take the by-pass to downtown Griffin
5. At red light at intersection of 19/41 and Airport Road/Kalamazoo Drive, turn left onto Airport Road
6. Service Center is less than 2 blocks on the right, 350 Airport Road, Griffin, GA 30224
   

• Alternate route

1. Stay on I-75 South to exit for Jackson/Griffin, Hwy 16
2. Take a right onto Highway 16
3. Go through Griffin, turn left onto Hwy 19/41
4. Turn left at intersection of 19/41 with Airport Road and Kalamazoo Drive.
